Question

I guess I am behind the times -- when did this happen?!

I know, it's so sad. I'm not exactly sure when Kirsten's dress was retired, but over the past few months, AG has been retiring many of the historicals' non-core dresses. We can only hope that this means lots more new dresses are on the way in the future.

I hate it when they retire things, it makes it so hard for those of us who collect slowly as funds allow!!!

At least retirements mean they're making room for new things.

I have seen some very reasonable auctions for that dress recently on ebay--under $30 for a retired outfit it not bad.

This is the two piece, lace up one, right? Her Swedish Dirndl??

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No I believe the original poster is refering to Kirsten's Plaid Dress and Shawl outfit which goes with the short story Kirsten's Promise. The dress is cream colored with purple and green plaid and a cream colored quilted shawl.

Yeah, that's the dress I was talking about, Pooh. I had no idea it was gone and just noticed today that it wasn't on the AG website.

I coded it last year but Kirsten didn't get it until Christmas . It is now one of my favorites. I hope you can find it for a good price. I do hope they introduce some new outfits for all the historicals.
